What’s the difference between Herbalife® Formula 1 and Formula 1 Sport?

All Formula 1 Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake mixes share the same nutritional profile of 9g of protein and 12g of carbohydrates along with a vitamin and mineral blend. Within this line is the classic soy-based Herbalife Formula 1 as well as Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport, which is made with milk protein.

Formula 1 Sport is different from Formula 1 in that Sport:

  • uses whey and casein in the form of milk protein - contains a small amount of soy lecithin
  • has additional glutamine
  • contains a higher percentage of the daily recommended value of Vitamin A, Calcium, Vitamin C and Folic Acid
  • and each lot produced is tested clean for athletic banned substances and certified in the NSF Certified for Sport® Program.

These differences were implemented to meet the increased nutritional needs of those engaging in an active lifestyle. However, they both offer similar overall benefits and can be used interchangeably: athletes can use the classic, and non-athletes can use the Sport version.

Does Formula 1 Sport contain soy protein?

No. Formula 1 Sport contains milk protein; however, it does contain an emulsifier called soy lecithin at a very low level (less than 1%).  Soy lecithin helps prevent clumping and is commonly found in dairy protein products. Hence, if you have a soy allergy, you should not consume F1 Sport.

What are the ingredients in Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport and what do they do?

Gain confidence from your pre-competition nourishment. Balanced with carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals, Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport establishes a solid nutritional foundation for performance while being easy to consume.

Does Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport contain any artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners?

Herbalife24® products do not contain any artificial colors or sweeteners.

  • Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport Vanilla Flavor contains Natural Vanilla and Natural Licorice Flavors.
  • Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport Chocolate Flavor contains Natural Flavors.

How many servings of Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport are available per container?

There are 30 servings of Herbalife24® Formula 1 Sport per canister. Each serving size is 2 scoops (26 grams).

Looking for ways to mix up your Herbalife Formula 1 shake? Try this delicious, healthy Cherry Dream shake mix from Registered Dietitian, Susan Bowerman. It's deliciously sweet and packs extra protein without excess calories! Watch on to learn how to make it in just a few simple steps.

*** Thick and delicious cherry vanilla shake, coming right up! ***

I'm Susan Bowerman, registered dietician, and today I'm going to show you how to make a thick and delicious cherry vanilla shake using Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix, vanilla flavor. Let's add a handful of frozen cherries, and a kind of unusual ingredient -- I'm using ricotta cheese to thicken my shake up even more than usual.

You know, there's a couple ways you can make your Herbalife shake extra thick. Ice cubes work, frozen fruit works, but this ricotta cheese, which is made with whey protein, is going to really make my shake extra thick and give it a really creamy texture.

I've got 250ml (8oz) of milk in the blender. Add two scoops of Herbalife Formula 1, and a nice big handful of frozen cherries for a beautiful color and great taste. Now add 80 grams or about a third of a cup of ricotta cheese - trust me - this will taste so good!

Put on the top and blend it up. And by doing this, I've added maybe about 60 calories, but the bonus is I've also added about 8 grams of whey protein to my shake. Cherry flavor is just so good with the vanilla.

I hope you'll try this at home, you can try other fruits with it too. Ricotta cheese is mild and it's also a little bit sweet so it blends really really well with any fruits. Give it a try today.

Let's make an Herbalife Formula 1 shake. I'm Susan Bowerman, registered dietitian, and I've asked my friend Jan to join me today to make a shake.

This video will teach Jan and viewers how to make an Herbalife Formula 1 shake in a few simple steps.

First take the top off your blender. Then add 8 ounces of milk. I'm using low-fat milk, but you can use non-fat milk or soy milk if you want to. Usually we say don't use rice milk or almond milk because they don't have much protein.

Then you're going to take your Formula 1 powder, and before you scoop it out, remember to shake the canister because the powder settles during transit. We want to make sure you get just the right amount of powder. After shaking the canister, open it, and put in two rounded scoops. There are multiple flavors ranging including vanilla and chocolate.

You could stop there, but I like to put ice in my shake. Ice gives it an extra smooth texture but, of course, it's optional. Keep in mind, it'll take a couple seconds longer to blend with ice.

Once you've combined your three ingredients; blend together, pour and drink. It's really that easy!
